GTMAG HONORS OUR NATIONS MEDAL OF HONOR WINNERS -- ARMED FORCES DAY 2008
Georgia Tech Military Affinty Group invites all interested parties to a panel session with several of our Nations's Medal of Honor receipients. Come meet and greet our finest! The morning reception and panel session honors three or more Medal of Honor Recipients, that are in town to honor Senator Sam Nunn on Friday May 16. The event is part of Georgia Tech’s Armed Forces Day on campus. The three confirmed recipients attending the event are Bruce Crandall (Army), Thomas Hudner (Navy), and Wesley Fox(USMC). Georgia Tech has had 4-Medal of Honor Recipients. Event: GTMAG presents coffee with Medal of Honor Recipients 8AM to 10AM in the Wardlaw Center in recognition of Armed Forces Day 2008. Membership is open to anyone interested in the mission of GTMAG, such as staff, alumni, friends, and students with military affiliation which includes - but is not limited to - active, retired, guard, reserve, those with any military service time, or DoD civilians from all branches of the military (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard) and Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
